  7.     "General Schwarzkopf is 240 lbs. of fury," wrote Oliver
  8. North in a recent letter to supporters. Ironically, the fury of
  9. H. Norman Schwarzkopf has come North's way. Ollie's mailing
  10. included a photograph of the Desert Stormer and a pitch for the
  11. Freedom Alliance, a conservative group that is headed by North
  12. and boosts causes dear to his heart, like the military and North
  13. himself. The photo raised $94,000 -- and Schwarzkopf's blood
  14. pressure: the ex-general didn't know that his face had been
  15. flacking for North until a Legal Times reporter phoned for a
  16. reaction. Faster than you can say "cease and desist," the
  17. Freedom Alliance killed its Schwarzkopf come-on.
